Commencement Rehearsal on Wednesday, May 20 and attendance is mandatory!
Please report to Lot K at 1pm on Wednesday, May 20th. Rehearsal will last approximately 1.5 hrs. At rehearsal, students will be given instructions in detail regarding the marching order, parking, etc. "Rain Tickets" (one per grad) will also be distributed, if necessary. If it is raining at the time of rehearsal, please report to the gym.
Commencement will be held Thursday, May 21st at 6:00 p.m. Students are requested to report to the designated area on campus, wearing commencement regalia by 5:15pm. Graduates not present are removed from the list of participants and may not enter the line. They will be guided at that time. We are planning on an outdoor ceremony even if drizzling. The event will only be moved indoors if the weather is extremely wet.
"In the Event of Rain" on the day of graduation - please check the college website for a decision to move the event indoors. A decision to move indoors will be made no later than 3:00 pm on Thursday, May 21th. Should the ceremony be moved indoors, please report to the Student Center hallway. Line leaders will begin the lines at the Student Life Offices and work their way back to the cafeteria. Each participating graduate will receive one rain ticket as a result of limited indoor seating. Tickets will be distributed at Commencement rehearsal.
For your convenience, the ceremony (rain or shine) will simulcast over cable channel 9 and in the FPA theater at the college. Guests not seated in the gym are welcome to be seated at the theater.
As parking is very limited, we request that graduates and their guests car-pool as much as is possible. Go Green and travel in one car! Please remember that parking fills early so plan your time accordingly.
Diplomas will be ready for pick up approximately 6-8 weeks after the conclusion of final classes. Student will be notified when diplomas arrive.
